Director of Substance Use Disorder

Community Care Network is searching for a Director of Substance Use Disorders to join our team!

About the Role:

The Director oversees the Substance Use Disorder Program. The Director oversees staff consisting of Counselors, Case Managers, Clinicians, and the Impaired Driving Rehabilitation Program. The Director is responsible for assuring that operational mandates and standards for excellence are met. Overall operating responsibility for fiscal and regulatory compliance, and ensuring the programs are strategically positioned for the future.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor and maintain program plans, policies, procedures, budgets, contracts, agreements, grants, fiscal and information tracking systems, and participate in evaluation activities. 
  • Supervise staff members as assigned. Perform annual performance evaluations of staff.
  • Manage fiscal operations in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer, including budget development, management and monitoring.
  • Identify growth and expansion opportunities to advance the mission of the substance use disorder program
  • Develop and execute communications, public relations, and marketing efforts to promote the programs, educate stakeholders and community members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Program management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders in adults
  • CADC or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont. The home office is in Rutland, Vermont and occasional travel to the Middlebury, Vermont office is required.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
