Early Head Start Co-Teachers
$21-$26.25/ Hour, Generous
benefits including: paid time off, medical/dental, paid training. $3,000 sign
on bonus. Full time (2 hours / day of paid prep time).
Rutland County Head Start is hiring co-teachers for their
new Early Head Start (infant/toddler) program located in Rutland City. As an Early Head Start Toddler Teacher, you
will serve as co-teacher in an outcomes-oriented, team environment, and provide
safe, healthy, friendly, and developmentally appropriate environments and
experiences for infants and toddlers. You will receive support, training, and
exceptional professional development.

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, AA degree in a related field
with 18 credits in Early Childhood Education, or a current Infant/Toddler Child
Development Associate Credential (CDA).

learning opportunities.
- Implement research-based assessment practices
that guide instruction and monitor children's growth and development.
- Conduct home visits and family conferences as
required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development
and in-service trainings during and after hours, including college-level
courses as required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable
transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or
above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
