One very important piece of our programming is our nutrition and food program and we are looking to hire an Assistant Cook to support our Lead Cook in the kitchen and with cleaning and sanitation responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe space for everyone within our learning community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves nutrition, cooking and being around children!
This position will evolve overtime. It will initially be a combination of kitchen responsibilities and cleaning responsibilities to a more full time kitchen role once we resume normal operations (post COVID-19).
Must have a high school diploma
Must have a driver's license
Must have reliable transportation during work hours (some travel required)
Willingness to learn on the job (training will be offered)
Passion for working in an environment with children and families
Interest in nutrition and health and wellness for children and adults
