Chief Financial Officer

Community Care Network is hiring a Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Rutland, Vermont.

We are seeking a skilled and strategically oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our organization. As our CFO, you will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, analysis, and strategy, along with executive oversight of the Finance, Billing, Facilities, and Information Technology departments. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will collaborate with other senior leaders to set business strategy, build a culture of excellence, and drive financial results that align with our mission and goals.

Community Care Network (CCN) is made up of Rutland Mental Health Services and Rutland Community Programs, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations. Together, CCN offers a wide range of programs addressing Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Older Adult Services, and Early Care and Education for the greater Rutland Region in Vermont. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through responsive, innovative, and collaborative human services.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include Financial Strategy and Leadership, Executive-level Leadership and Team Development, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Revenue Cycle Management, Risk Management and Internal Controls, and Operational Efficiency and Cost Control.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • At least 10 years of fiscal management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in healthcare-related finance. Familiarity with the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) financial model is a plus.
  • Understanding of healthcare finance, including reimbursement methodologies, government healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid/CCBHC), and financial regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive change.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting financial information to non-financial audiences through verbal explanations, written reports, and visual representations.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
