Clinical Supervisor - Child and Family Outpatient

About the Role:

The Child and Family Outpatient Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision of program staff to meet the quality and overall goals of Rutland Mental Health Services. This position meets the program's uniquely-defined internal/external compliance standards and performance measures. They develop and maintain close working relationships with internal/external professional staff to provide quality coordinated services. They will identify new or changing needs within the community and work to leverage new opportunities to meet the agency needs and mission. They manage the Child and Family Outpatient Program Therapeutic Case Management team including supervision of staff and provision of programming consistent with agency expectations. They also manage Child and Family Department collaboration with Child First Advocacy Center including oversight of this unique program collaboration: referrals, intake process, treatment planning, and trauma-informed treatment. Lastly, they provide direct service to clients and families. Services shall include, but are not limited to, clinical assessment, treatment planning, service planning and coordination, community supports, and individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of administrative supervision to the Child and Family Outpatient staff, including: completion of staff performance evaluations, recruitment and hiring, approval of expense vouchers, ensuring timesheet completion, and implementation of corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Provision of individual and group clinical supervision to Child and Family Outpatient staff as outlined in the Agency's Supervision policy.
  • Coordinate the availability of services for Child and Family Outpatient team to ensure the ability to manage program capacity.
  • Will oversee and monitor program goals and compliance standards for/with program staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, human services, social work or related field.
  • Vermont State license required.
  • Experience in psychological treatment of adults, children and families.
  • Previous clinical and administrative supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
  • Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
