Rutland Mental Health is seeking a dynamic individual with expertise working with children and families that have experienced complex trauma and poverty. Families referred for these intensive services are usually at risk of having their children removed from the home or are working towards reunification. Intensive Family Based Services clinicians support parents/guardians during school meetings for their children and encourage healthy interactions within the larger family system. Clinicians work closely with Dept. of Children and Families as well as numerous other community providers to facilitate change in the home, in a coordinated effort to keep families together. The position requires close collaboration with other agencies and providers, an understanding of family systems, and an ability to provide psychoeducation on the impacts of trauma and healthy parenting skills.
Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required; as well as experience working with children, parents and/or families. License preferred.CCN is an equal opportunity employer.
