We are seeking School
Based Clinicians to provide strategic therapeutic intervention and support for
students in contracted school(s). This role will provide services such as
therapy, specialized rehabilitation, case management, crisis intervention and
assessments. The School Based Clinician will attend interdisciplinary team
meetings regarding treatment plans and support services. Services are
clinically family-centered and strength-based in order to improve the
individual's quality of life and ability to function more successfully in the
school and community.
- Master's Degree in Psychology,
Counseling or Social Work required.
- Vermont State licensure preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's
license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability
insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of
- 2-3 years' experience providing
mental health services for diverse range of school-aged children living
with serious emotional disorders required.
- Successful completion of a
criminal history background check after hire.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word
and Outlook required.
- Able to function autonomously
in stressful situations and make appropriate assessments in coordination
with a multidisciplinary team.
- General knowledge of community
resources, standard models of service coordination, and/or experience
working in a variety of human services settings.
- Must demonstrate superior
listening, communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively as
a team member within the agency and the community.
- Structured and organized to
support those in crisis and in need.
