Rutland Mental Health Services is seeking a qualified individual to facilitate physical and emotional outdoor therapeutic experiences for our clients.
The Vermont Outdoor Adventure Program (VOAP), a program within RMHS, is a non-profit outdoor behavioral program that serves youth ages 4-18 by providing individual, family, and group counseling through adventure. A proven alternative to office-based counseling, our services are primarily outdoors, utilizing the natural environment to engage our clients behaviorally, emotionally and physically.
Outside of the counseling practice, VOAP provides personalized leadership and team-building programming for school groups K-12. During the summer VOAP runs a high adventure-based summer camp with an emphasis on fun, confidence and self-esteem building, and wilderness adventure.
VOAP is looking for an energetic, fun and creative individual who loves the outdoors and working with children. Come join our team and apply now!
