Provide support services to adults who experience acute psychiatric episodes in a short-term, 4 bed crisis program. Supervise and help stabilize crises of clients by creating a daily routine to include: problem-solving strategies, coping skills and practice for managing daily activities safely for reintegration into their community upon discharge. Create individual treatment plans and assist individuals to accomplish specified tasks to reach their goal. Facilitate small group sessions to provide education and therapeutic support to enhance clients' abilities to cope with their mental health symptoms. Admit and discharge clients, coordinating with their treatment team as necessary. Meal planning and preparation and some light housekeeping are required. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a crisis stabilization environment are required. Human service experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
