Community Care Network is comprised of Rutland Mental Health Services and Rutland Community Programs.Our mission is to enhance the well-being of our communities, individuals and families through responsive, innovative and collaborative human service. The Community Access Program (CAP) offers a comprehensive array of person-centered supports to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. This position is responsible for working in a 24/7 comprehensive supports and nursing care in a home setting for six adults with developmental disabilities and significant medical needs. This residential home is the only Intermediate Care Unit in the State of Vermont.

About The Role:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who passionate about providing top care to a small group of patients. This unique facility provides opportunities for nursing staff to use their technical skills of nursing and building relationships with residents and staff in a close community. In assuring the optimum health of individuals at Westview Court, the Registered Nurse will provide assessments, nursing services,record keeping, administer medication, and will assist in development and updating the health care plan. This position will require you to respond to emergency situations appropriately and demonstrate working knowledge of various therapies.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • State of Vermont Registered Nurse License.
  • Minimum 1 year of Clinical Nursing Experience, and 1 Year of Developmental Disability Services preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Physically able to perform a moderate amount of lifting for short periods of time.
  • Withstand long periods of standing, walking, running, and providing physical support to others.
